In 1999, Interbrew had an idea for the Beer.com site where cameras situated in bars around the world would connect the patrons with office workers several timezones away.

One of the earliest stabs at videoconferencing, it was probably a little ahead of its time. Not sure how long it lasted, but it sure looked good up there.
